Relaxation isn't so far off when you see clothes on a line blowing in the wind. Wrightsville beach has been my familys vacation spot for several years now and only this year did I realize why. This is a small, up and coming, atheletic, beautiful, and close knit community. You can wake up and walk or bike to the local coffee shop and get your brew and a burrito. There are plenty of boutique shops with the latest fashion trends which happend to be right next to the strip of watering holes of your choice. The beach's long beautiful white sand streaches into the cool blue green ocean where we have found sand dollars, sea shells and shipwreckage artifacts. The beach isn't too crowded and the water temperature is always perfect. We enjoyed venturing into wilmington and finding the local health food shops and eco boutiques around the end of the week when sunbathing was just too painful. The week went by too fast like usual but I managed to captured a few memories on the last couple days to share with my readers and family.
